Pakistan Army continues with relief and rescue operation "Operation Labbaik-2" in flood affected areas of Sindh. Over 2000 Army troops, Helicopters, Motorized Boats, heavy vehicles and machinery are employed in this operation. Pakistan Army has established relief camps at Sanghar, Mir Pur Khas, Umer Kot and Badin. Army has also established Tent Villages at Kolai (Bedin), Sanghar and Mir Pur Khas.
In last 24 hours, 1200 persons stranded in flood hit areas were rescued by boats and road to safe places in Badin, Mitthi, Mirpur Khas, Tando Allah Yar, Umar kot and Sanghar districts.
More than 74 tons of ration was distributed and 3 tons of ration was dropped through helicopters in flooded villages of Sanghar and Badin districts.
Meanwhile, Army doctors treated 3100 patients in the medical camps and Mobile Medical Units in all flood affected areas of Sinds.
